Dr. Jennifer Agganis, founder and Chief Clinical Officer of ABA Foundations, joins the ABA Start-up Community to talk about her journey as a BCBA entrepreneur. Jennifer will share her experience launching and growing her company, share tips on collaborating with other business owners, retaining staff, and how she developed a successful mentorship program at ABA Foundations. Jennifer will also answer your questions about how to venture into the business side of ABA!
Jennifer Agganis, EdD, BCBA
is a leader in the field of behavior analysis and in the treatment for individuals on the autism spectrum and related disabilities demonstrated through her various leadership and community service positions she has held across organizations.
Jennifer graduated from Simmons College in Massachusetts in Behavioral Education and obtained her Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification in 2003, followed by her Doctorate Degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University in 2018.
She has been working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders of all ages since 1999 with a focus on improving quality of life by decreasing challenging behaviors, increasing pro-social behaviors and empowering all stakeholders.
Jennifer is also a wife and mother who enjoys spending time outdoors and serving her community.
About ABA Foundations
ABA Foundations has been serving the community of Martin and Palm Beach Counties since 2015. ABAF provides services to families and their children diagnosed with ASD and related disabilities in home, school, center and community settings. We have a mentoring program for students enrolled in an ABA program as well as monthly professional development and team building opportunities. We are looking to extend our family of professionals to support the ongoing needs of our families.
